Microsoft Teams is a communication and collaboration platform that allows you to chat, video call, share files with your classmates and instructors, and join online meetings. We will demonstrate how to access Teams, navigate the software, find your courses, and share content.
Brightspace by D2L is our learning management system where you will access your course materials, submit assignments, and take quizzes. We will walk you through the most important areas of Brightspace and see how to take advantage of its many features.
Microsoft365 is a suite of applications available to registered BVC students that include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. These products are vital to completing coursework in most programs at the College. We will demonstrate how to access and use these applications, as well as how to save and share your work with others using Microsoft OneDrive.
By the end of this session, you will have a solid understanding of how to use these essential platforms to be successful in your academic journey at BVC. We look forward to supporting your success!
